Meet the newest member of our Team . . . Maria Huang, MD. She took over Ed Steinweg, MD practice, who retired July 2011. We are very happy to have her!
Maria Huang, MD is a Board Certified pediatrician who provides care in general pediatrics, including inpatient and newborn care. Dr. Huang joins us after returning from a year practicing pediatrics in Christchurch, New Zealand. She attended undergraduate and medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, and completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital.
Dr. Huang was born in Chapel Hill, NC and is an unapologetic Tar Heels fan. She is engaged to Jon Penoyar who has roots in Southwest Washington. They enjoy backpacking, biking and exploring together.
