Meet the Doctors


Amy Belko, PhD, MD, FAAP

Amy Belko, PhD, MD, has been a pediatrician in Olympia since 1994.  Prior to her career in medicine, Dr. Belko completed a PhD in nutrition from Cornell University.  She worked as a nutritionist for several years, studying the effects of exercise on obesity and weight loss.



Karen Fukui, MD, FAAP

Karen Fukui, MD, FAAP,has been practicing in Olympia since 1990.  She received her medical degree from the University of Washington and completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.



Cole Mason, MS, MD, FAAP

Cole Mason, MS, MD, FAAP, has been in pediatric practice in Olympia since 1975. His professional interests are neonatology and general clinical pediatrics.  Dr. Mason received his bachelor of science degree from Whitman College and his master of science degree in biochemistry from the University of Oregon Health Sciences.



Lin O'Leary, MD, FAAP

Lin O'Leary, MD, FAAP, has been with Olympia Pediatrics since they started in July of 2001, after being with Memorial Clinic for 14 years. Dr. O'Leary performs all aspects of general pediatrics with a special interest in school and learning problems.



Dana Mark Petersen, MD, FAAP

Dana Mark Petersen, MD, FAAP, has been in practice since completing his residency at Seattle Children's Hospital.  Special interests include behavioral pediatrics, children with special health care needs and international medicine. 



Bridget Sipher, MD, FAAP

Bridget Sipher, MD, FAAP has been with Olympia Pediatrics since 2005.  Dr. Sipher received her medical degree at the University of Washington School.  She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Utah/Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT were she was also chief resident.



Brad Stephens, MD

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Brad D. Stephens, MD to our practice on September 2, 2008.

Dr. Stephens performs all facets of Pediatric Medicine including outpatient, inpatient, and newborn care.  He enjoys a wide range of pediatric care and is excited to have joined Olympia Pediatrics.



Ed Steinweg, MD, FAAP

Ed Steinweg, MD, FAAP, received his MD from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and completed his pediatrics residency at the University of Michigan. Dr. Steinweg has maintained his practice in the Olympia community since 1979.



Kathy Berndt, ARNP

Kathy Berndt, ARNP joined our practice on August 25, 2008, with 13 years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.  Kathy will be covering for Dr. Bridget Sipher while she is out on maternity leave until early December and after that time Kathy's own practice will be open to accepting new patients.  She will be providing primary care for newborns through adolescents.



Molly Rothmeyer, ARNP

Molly Rothmeyer, ARNP, started with Olympia Pediatrics in June of 2006.  Molly received her Masters Degree in Nursing from Murray State University in December of 2005, with a focus in Family Practice.  Molly did her internship at Blanchfield Army Hospital in Family Practice and Urgent Care.
